The founders of Service Dog Games International are four women who have trained dogs all their lives with an emphasis on service dogs. After years of watching service dogs and their humans, we understand that dogs love not only their people but also the jobs they do for them.
We would like to put the joy of working into all service dogs, emotional support animals and anyone who feels the need to train with joy. What better way than having Service Dog Olympics!
For now, we have Foundation Games, Novice Games, Intermediate Games, Expert Games and Champion Games. Next to be added will be the Specialty Games. The reason we are doing it this way is to get as many of the dogs and humans who have already been trained getting acknowledged as Champion's and Specialist's in their "sport".
Registration is $5 per dog. If you have more than one dog, you must register for each dog so that each dog has a member ID.
Not following any of these rules will automatically result in a non-passing score. We reserve the right to give a dog a non-passing score if a dog seems overly fearful or stressed, or if we feel that there is a safety risk at any time.
